London Colney are five points clear at the top of South Midlands Premier Division after a 3-1 win at Holmer Green on Saturday.

The Blueboys found themselves 1-0 down inside 54 seconds after Greg Deer headed past goalkeeper Tom Gowans.

But the visitors grabbed an equaliser in the 15th minute when Ashley Morrissey neatly chipped the ball over advancing keeper Sam Butcher.

London Colney took the lead for the first time when Jon Clements followed up after his first shot was saved and fired home.

The visitors clinched the points in the second half through Clements' second goal of the game.

The Blueboys visit Crawley Green tonight before hosting Colney Heath on Tuesday.
