CHELSEA boss Luiz Felipe Scolari is confident of securing the services of Real Madrid ace Robinho after sanctioning Shaun Wright-Phillips' move to Manchester City.

Man City boss Mark Huges tied up the £9m deal even though Scolari had been adamant that Robinho had to be purchased first.

This threatened to be a stumbling block for City as Real Madrid want to sign a replacement for Robinho before allowing him to head to Stamford Bridge in a £30m deal.

Salomon Kalou has been offered in a possible player plus cash move but Real Madrid do not want the Ivory Coast frontman who has been reduced to a bit part under Scolari.

Madrid have enquired about Didier Drogba but any possible deal was rejected out of hand by Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon.

But it now appears that Chelsea will get their man with Wright-Phillips' move back to Man City a clear indication that Chelsea believe it is a done deal.
