Tony and Barrie Drewitt Barlow
So on Saturday morning I drove across to the lovely Maldon in Essex to meet with my clients and colleagues the charming Tony and Barrie Drewitt Barlow.
The first gaydads to be named on their children's birth certificate, the couple run the successful British Surrogacy Centre advising the likes of Ian Watkins (H from Steps) and Bobby Norris (TOWIE). Barry and Tony spill the beans on running for MP, their new IVF centre and all the latest filming with Towie.

Tony and Barrie have 5 children and are considering their sixth child. They will be selecting the gender of their sixth child using a clinic in the US.
Creating a family using surrogacy is becoming increasingly common. It is essential to get legal advice before the process begins because the law relating to surrogacy is different in every country. You are advised to always get legal advice from a lawyer specialising in surrogacy in both the country where the surrogacy takes place and in the UK. You need to make sure that you will be permitted to bring the child back to the UK and obtain a Parental Order. A Parental Order will extinguish the rights of the surrogate mother and allow give you full legal status.
If you require any advice on surrogacy including information on the service that Barrie and Tony offer at the British Surrogacy Centre, please contact Harjit Sarang on 01727 884688 or e-mail harjit@bestsolicitorsllp.co.uk
