More than 99,000 businesses seek help and advice from Business Link

Against a backdrop of austerity, entrepreneurs in Hertfordshire have continued to turn to Business Link for practical help and advice. Of 99,929 businesses in the region making use of the services provided by the organisation in the past year, 19,061 were based in Herts.

An independent survey carried out by Business Link in the East of England has revealed that entrepreneurs that seek advice from the service when starting out have an 84% survival rate beyond three years, compared with a 64% national average for those that choose to go it alone.
