I’m an 18-year-old sixth form student with an appetite for critiquing the happenings of every day life. My main interests include; music (listening and writing), football and video games (so basically everything you’d expect from a young male my age.) Academically I’m a student of History, Media Studies and English Language wishing to go on to study History at university. Writing is something I’ve recently sought enjoyment out of and has been integrated more naturally into academic writing as well as writing for entertainment. Somehow through all of this I manage to maintain some form of a social life and I enjoy going out or staying in with friends on a fairly regular basis. As for the future, my attitude is to keep my options open and “take life as it comes.”

Sinning Cinemas

In such a climate it's scandalous just how far cinemas can push up their ticket prices!

With reports suggesting the AC Milan player would have cost over £100 million, has the price of football players reached its limit?

No Christmas cheer for Woolies

Financial losses, mass job cuts, UP TO* 50% off sale, customer frustration, stock shortages and staff discomfort. It's all part of Christmas in the Woolworth's house! *note: they've made the "up to" part particularly small on all the signs, so I thought I'd make it more apparent.

Honda's Hydrogen Heyday?

If you watched Top Gear last night (14/12/08) then you'll have seen what potentially could be the rescuer of the car industry.
