NOTICE Is given that the Hertfordshire County Council Intend to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Elstree & Borehamwood 56, heading north to junction with Elstree & Borehamwood 13, for an approximate distance of 450 metres.
Alternative Route: no suitable alternative.
The purpose of the Order is to enable surfacing and vegetation clearance works to take place.
The section of Footpath Elstree & Borehamwood 56 will be closed on or after 1st November 2021 for up to 5 weeks, when signs are in place. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SARRATT ROAD, SARRATT) ORDER N0.6 2021

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Sarratt Road, Sarratt from its junction with Sarratt Public Footpath No.058 south westwards for a distance of approximately 400m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Sarratt Road, Redhall Lane, Chandlers Lane, Toms Hill, Bucks Hill, The Common, The Street, Dunny Lane, Poles Hill, The Green, Dimmocks Lane and Sarratt Road.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing utility pole is proposed to be executed near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 2 November 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

An alternative route will be via Dimmocks Lane, The Green, Poles Hill, Dunny Lane, The Street, The Common, Bucks Hill, Toms Hill, Chandlers Lane, Redhall Lane and Sarratt.
The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Wellstones, Watford from its junction with A411 Exchange Road north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Market Street, a distance of approximately 275m ("the Road"), except for access
An alternative route will be via A411 (Exchange Road/Beechen Grove), Clarendon Road, High Street and Market Street.
The Order is needed to enable a mobile crane to be positioned on the highway to dismantle an existing tower crane.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 29 October 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN MURIEL AVENUE, WATFORD) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Muriel Avenue, Watford from a point in line with the northern boundary of No.2 Muriel Avenue south eastwards for its entire length ("the Road"), except for access. There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because highway drainage works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 November 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all subway users from using the following lengths of subway ("the Subways"):-
1. the subway situated beneath A405 St Albans Road, Watford from its junction with Horseshoe Lane south eastwards and south westwards to its junction with A412 St Albans Road, a distance of approximately 123m.
An alternative route will be via the footways situated on the west and east sides of A412 St Albans Road.
2. the subway situated beneath A412 St Albans Road, Watford from its junction with A412 St Albans Road south eastwards and clockwise for a distance of approximately 80m.
An alternative route will be via the footways situated on the west and east sides of A412 St Albans Road.
The Order is needed because subway maintenance works are proposed to be executed on or near the Subways.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 1 November 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Quickmoor Lane, Sarratt from its junction with Penmans Green north eastwards for a distance of approximately 35 m ("the Road"), except for access.
An alternative route will be via Commonwood, Bottom Lane, Bucks Hill and Quickmoor Lane.
The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 19 October 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all subway users from using the subway situated beneath the A5135 Elstree Way, Borehamwood from a point 14m east of its junction with Bullhead Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 30m ("the Subway"). An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north side of A5135 Elstree Way and the footway situated on the south side of A5135 Elstree Way. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Subway.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 18 October 2021 for a period of up to 18 months. THE HERTFORDSHIRE (CHILCOTT ROAD, COMYNE ROAD, HUDSON CLOSE, DESMOND ROAD AND ROSEBRIAR WALK, WATFORD) (20 MPH ZONE) ORDER 2021

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a 20mph zone in parts of Watford as specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
