Hertsmere Borough Council Town And Country Planning
(General Permitted Development) Order 2015, As Amended Notice Of Making Article 4(1) Direction

Hertsmere Borough Council gives notice that the Council has made a non-immediate Direction under Article 4(1) of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995 (as amended) in respect of the following classes of development within the identified locations listed below:
Development consisting of a change use of a building and any land within its curtilage from a use falling within Class E (commercial, business and service) of Schedule 2, Part A to the Town and Country Planning (Use Classes) Order 1987 (as amended), to a use falling within Class C3 (dwellinghouses) of Schedule 1 to that Order being development comprised within Class MA of Part 3 of Schedule 2 to the Order and not being development comprised within any other Class within the identified locations listed below.
Employment Areas - (1) Elstree Way and (2) Stirling Way, Borehamwood; (3) Cranborne Road and (4) Station Close, Potters Bar; and (5) Otterspool Way, Bushey;
Key Employment Site - (1) Centennial Park, Elstree; and Locally Significant Employment Sites - (1) Wrotham Business Park; (2) Borehamwood Enterprise Centre and (3) Theobald Court, Borehamwood; (4) Lismirrane Industrial Park, Elstree; (5) Hollies Way, Potters Bar; (6) Beaumont Gate, Radlett; (7) Farm Close, Shenley.
The effect of the Direction is to require applications to be made for permission for those classes of development granted by Article 3 and Class MA of the Order. The Direction and Plans may be seen at the Civic Offices, Elstree Way, Borehamwood, Herts between the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, & Borehamwood Library, 96 Shenley Road, Borehamwood, Herts, Monday to Saturday between opening hours. Representations on the Direction must be made in writing at local.plan@hertsmere.
