A popular comedian will be the guest artist at an upcoming art fair.

Noel Fielding will be the special Guest Artist at the 19th London edition of the Other Art Fair at the Old Truman Brewery on Thursday, March 19, to Sunday, March 22.

Noel will be showcasing an exclusive exhibition of new paintings and releasing a limited edition print, priced at £100, which will be exclusively available at the fair.

Noel said: “I lived inside a post box outside Francis Bacon’s house for 40 years. Only saw him twice but just those glimpses of his lower legs taught me more about art than I could ever learn in B&Q. I am flattered to be the guest artist at The Other Art Fair. I can’t wait to meet all the other artists and see all the fantastic work.”

Having studied fine art at Croydon University under Turner nominee Dexter Dalwood, Noel has since exhibited artworks in the Royal Albert Hall, the Saatchi Gallery and The Tate Liverpool among others.

Jessica Chow, UK Fair Director at The Other Art Fair said: “We’re extremely excited to welcome Noel as Guest Artist and introduce his work to our London audience. Noel’s paintings are full of life; simultaneously playful, serious, dark and colourful. Alongside his paintings, he’ll be showing a selection of one-off drawings, as well as an exclusive limited edition print, adding to the catalogue of Noel Fielding artworks visitors will be able to purchase at the fair. This is a unique chance for people to see the incredible large-scale works in the flesh.”
