4. Charity Quiz Night

Following the great success of last year’s event, this Charity Quiz Night is in support of Peace Hospice Care. This is a great chance to meet other local businesses and help to raise money for this tremendous cause whilst having fun. Tickets include a drink on arrival, a two course meal and entry to the quiz. The Quiz Master will be comedy impressionist Steve Williams.

6. Gordon Haskell and Hannah’s Yard

Singer/songwriter Gordon Haskell is back. In this, his 70th year, he brings his jazz/blues-influenced songbook and golden voice back to audiences countrywide. Gordon will be joined by musical collective Hannah’s Yard. Think Norah Jones meets Fairground Attraction performed by some of the UK’s finest musicians and featuring the beautifully understated voice of acclaimed 20 year old singer Hannah Layton Turner.

7. The Johnny Cash Roadshow

8. Antony Gormley and Anish Kapoor

Lecture by Rosalind Whyte. Almost all of Antony Gormley’s work takes the human body as its subject, with his own body used in a number of works as the basis for metal casts. Anish Kapoor is acclaimed for his explorations of matter and non-matter, specifically evoking the void in both free-standing sculptural work and ambitious installations.
