Perky-eared hares, wrinkled bulldogs, circus elephants cradling sleepy clowns, stunning vases, all these and more can be admired in exquisite detail at the 20th annual Art in Clay exhibition.

The three-day pottery and ceramics festival will showcase breathtakingly beautiful works by 200 of the world's best ceramicists, from the charming to the obscure, classical to the cutting-edge.

New to the event this year will be internationally-renowned Tjok Dessauvage from Belgium who creates closed sculptural entities, Mary Jones who was the winner of last year's Student Award and explores how emotion is translated on our faces and Andrew Hull who will exhibit his highly-detailed work inspired his background in the ceramics industry and conservation fields.

Children are welcome to the festival and there will be a series of hands on events where all ages can try out a potters wheel or modelling clay by hand.
