Laura Jurd is a student at Trinity Guildhall School of Music
This Sunday sees the third in Herts Jazz’s successful College Collection programme, with the Laura Jurd Octet and the Greg Sterland/Joe Webb Duo.
Laura is making quite a name for herself following the release of her album, Landing Ground, which reached number two in the Guardian’s jazz albums of 2012, and which she will be performing from on the night. Laura is from Trinity Guildhall School of Music.
Greg Sterland and Joe Webb, from the Welsh College of Music and Drama, are a vocal and guitar duo and provide an interesting contrast to the evening.
