Just behind me, two ladies were taking notes on an ipad. To my left a youngster was on his smart phone reading Bible verses. To my right, a girl was checking her emails.  This was in church!

On the train, everyone I see is connected. I quite enjoy the snatches of film I see on someone’s laptop. I sit there, drawing the people with pencil and paper. Are artists exempt? No, even David Hockney sketched his trees on an i pad.

So, as a Christian I wonder how spiritual connection compares with all this.

God is actually the ultimate “connector” compared with all the gadgets we enjoy to date.  He is definitely ”Hands free”
.
‘How can I believe in his existence?’ you say ? Well, how do you believe that a message written on a small electronic device  reaches California in 2 seconds?  ‘We have proof’, you say.’ It gets there.’

Similarly, people who have connected to God through Jesus have no doubt about it. They know that when they first connected, all past sins and errors were deleted. They know that their new line to God is always there.  There are no power cuts with God. The outbox is never full.  God just loves us to talk to him and spend time (hands free ) with him.

How can you tell if someone is connected to God?  Changed lives...not perfect but being transformed by God’s power. We know there are invisible radio waves. Don’t write off God’s invisible spiritual waves.
