Pupils at a school in St Albans have taken home the trophy at an annual drama competition.
A production by Year 7, 8 and 9 boys from St Columba’s College in King Harry Lane was named Best Junior Play at the Bushey and South West Herts Youth Drama Festival on March 21.
One of the school’s young actors, Theodore Collins, was also named the Best Junior Performer in the competition, which was held at Queens’ School.
Drama teacher Charlotte Gregory said: "The boys worked incredibly hard and rehearsed tirelessly; we were beset with bad luck - one key performer was ill and we had to recast the day before the performance, and then came the snow.
"The boys, and their proud parents, were delighted when the winners were announced on Saturday."
