Tickets remain on sale for the 2013 Retailer of the Year awards.

All short-listed traders will be invited to attend the gala awards dinner at the Alban Arena on Monday, June 24.

And you can join them by purchasing a ticket for £6 from the Tourism Information Centre, in the Town Hall, Market Place, St Albans.

Last year The Green Boutique, in the Village Arcade in High Street, was announced as the year’s overall Retailer of the Year after winning the Fashion and Accesories category. The evening’s first award, Specialist Shop, went to Cuthberts Toys in Christopher Place.

Up next was the Food and Drink category, which Buongiorno Italia won.

Poulter’s Fish Stall was named the winner of the Markets Traders category while Ginger & Lime took hair and beauty.

Freddie’s in Adelaide Street was named the winner of the Cafes and Restaurant category.
