There is a weather warning of heavy rain in place for Sunday across the St Albans district.
The Met Office has issued the yellow warning - the lowest level of severe weather warning that asks members of the public to be prepared for travel disruption and continuing risk of flooding in prone areas.
The chief forecaster at the Met Office said: "Most areas will see a period of heavy rain and very strong winds. Rainfall accumulations of 15 to 25 mm are expected quite widely with 35mm or more locally, especially over southern parts of England.
"Another Atlantic frontal system is forecast to cross the UK during Sunday. Expect southerly gusts 40 to 50 mph quite widely, particularly with the passage of the front, and probably peaking 60 to 70 mph or more around exposed coasts and headlands."
