The leader of the St Albans District Council Liberal Democrat Party has stepped down.
Councillor Anthony Rowlands has decided to step aside from the role, due to personal reasons. He will still maintain a role as a backbench district councillor.
The deputy leader of the party, Councillor Chris White, has taken over as acting leader from now until the May election.
