Tickets have gone on sale for Festival on the Field, Harpenden’s own outdoor music festival.
The fundraising event, run by the school associations of Sir John Lawes and Manland Primary School, attracted an audience of over 2,000 people in 2012, which included performances from Queen, Michael Jackson, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga tribute acts.

Mark Hill, a key organiser of the event, who has daughters at both schools, said: “The success of Festival on the Field 2012 was a result of the huge effort and support given by parents and teachers from both school associations.
“It couldn’t have happened without this support or the sponsorship we received from local businesses. And now we’re doing it all over again in 2014.”
The festival will take place on Saturday, July 5.
Tickets can be purchased from the Festival on the Field website: www.festivalonthefield.com.
