A murder mystery evening has raised more than £1,000 in aid of the St Albans Citizens Advice Bureau.
In a complicated tale enacted by the Three Rivers Club, the whodunit was played out whilst guests enjoyed being entertained in the old Victorian Courtroom combined with a supper in the Grand Hall on Saturday, March 29.
Sarah Yexley, Chairman of the CAB’s St Albans branch said: "We were delighted with the numbers that attended and the sums raised.
"I would like to thank the generous guests who attended the event. The old Town Hall was a perfect venue for the Murder Mystery with its incredible Victorian Courtroom and all the other impressive rooms."
Citizen’s Advice is now well established in its new location in the Civic Centre and has just launched the Meet and Greet service in the Hub.
