Star Wars Stormtroopers invaded a St Albans arts shop on Saturday as part of a superhero day to raise more than £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Staff from Pots of Art dressed up as their favourite superheros, while visitors enjoyed face painters, tattoos, tickets, Super Hero pictures to colour, music to guess and sweet treats.
Amanda Allen, manager of the Holywell Hill shop, said: “The face painting this year was exceptional with the wonderful staff at Pots of Art putting their artistic hands to work.
“It really was a lot of fun and laughter, enjoyed by all.”
Councillor Janet Churchard, deputy Mayor of St Albans District, attended the event and said: “It was amazing to see so many superheroes at the same event. I want to thank all the local people and businesses who came together with superhero generosity for a very worthwhile cause in Macmillan Cancer Support.”
