Your local community radio station needs you.

What do you wake up to on Sundays? Is it the kids launching themselves on you? Perhaps you’re allowed to sleep in before you take them to football! Maybe you’re woken up by your mobile phone alarm.

Or you could wake up to Radio Verulam’s Faith Alive! on 92.6 FM or on the internet.

If you haven’t yet listened, you may not realise that this programme is a community platform to share what God is doing in this area.

In the last week or two we’ve had strong words about the injustice of large trading companies tax dodging and thus cheating the poor globally.

We’ve had poetry from a member of the Abbey, and the story of a miraculous encounter with an angel from a lady in Redbourn.

We’ve heard from the head of a church food bank and the desperate need she encounters here in St. Albans.

We’ve heard from a youth leader involved in the December Sleep Out, and we’ve enjoyed some of the brief biographies of significant Christians, old and new, from the Bishop of St Albans' book 'Saints and Pilgrims.'

However, I sometimes have a problem. I can’t get to all the stories that I’d love to include in Faith Alive!

This is a community radio station. We want to hear from anyone about your church news and your beliefs.

Anyone with a story or a viewpoint can contact me on Elspeth@radioverulam.com or ring Radio Verulam 01727 839926 and leave a message. It’s got to be your programme.
