An appeal against the refusal of planning permission for two new houses in Harpenden has been allowed.
Oakbridge Homes Ltd submitted the appeal against St Albans District Council’s decision to refused permission to build the houses in land to the rear of 69 Roundwood Lane.
The main issues cited were the effect the development would have on the character of the neighbourhood and the living conditions of neighbours.
The planning application was granted by an inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government.
