Volunteers dedicated to supporting disabled athletes in St Albans can take part in essential training after a cash boost.
Special Olympics St Albans, a charity providing sporting opportunities for people with learning disabilities, has been given £395 to help provide training for the volunteers, who support the 120 athletes that attend their sessions each week.
The money came from Hertfordshire County Council’s locality grant scheme.
