A consultation on the future of a village landmark will take place in London Colney tomorrow.
There will be a public exhibition of plans for the All Saints Pastoral Centre on Shenley Lane, which was sold to the Comer Group for around £6 million by the Diocese of Westminster.
They home to build 150 homes on surrounding land.
Comer are hosting the exhibition at London Colney Pastoral Centre from 11am to 4pm and putting on a bus from the corner of Shenley Lane and Telford Road every half an hour from 11am to 3.30pm to take residents to see the plans.
District councillor Jacob Quagliozzi said: “Having been going to the Pastoral Centre for most of my life for one reason or another, like many residents I’m concerned as to what the future holds for this important part of London Colney and the wider district.
“I hope everyone who is able will pop along to the Pastoral Centre on Saturday afternoon so that we can give the developer an idea of how this building and land is valued by the public which will help councillors and officers to press to protect this important area.”
