Boots in St Albans and the team from Elizabeth Arden hosted a two day event to raise money for the Community First Responders.
The event featured Elizabeth Arden's top international makeup artist Joseph Hernandez, who was present throughout the day performing makeovers, and gave a demonstration with makeup and skin care advice in the evening.
The Community First Responders, who are volunteers trained by the Ambulance Service to respond to Life threatening emergency calls received a total of £839.38, to which Boots added a further £500.
The volunteers use their own cars, time and money to cover a 'pin' area that they can respond to within eight minutes. Any additional equipment comes from fundraising and the kit they use costs around £1,400.
