There are long traffic delays on the M1 after a lorry fire.
Emergency services are on the scene after the fire on the M1 northbound in Kingsbourne Green. There is stationary traffic northbound before J9, A5 (Redbourn).
Around 26 tonnes of shredded material is being cleared.
The fire service said they have taken 18 999 calls in the past few minutes. The lorry is being dealt with on the hard shoulder.
Congestion is back to J8, A414 (Hemel Hempstead). Two lanes remain closed.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
