A TRIO of fire crews were called to alarms sounding in St Clements Close, Worcester.
At around 6.24pm yesterday (Tuesday) firefighters from Worcester were alerted to the incident, which turned out to be a small microwave fire.
When the teams arrived on the scene the fire had already been extinguished.
Elsewhere, a fire crew from Upton-upon-Severn were called to extinguish a car which was well alight on the A4104 in Earles Croome last night.
At 6.17pm an emergency alert was received and firefighters tackled the blaze using foam.
On the roads, a team from Malvern Fire Station assisted West Mercia Police to make a crash safe on Worcester Road at around 6.50pm, also on Tuesday.
