Junior doctors in St Albans will be holding free paediatric basic life support sessions during this week’s planned strike action.
The drop in sessions will be taking place on Tuesday, April 26 at St Peter’s Church in St Peters Street, St Albans between 2pm and 4pm.
Another session will be taking place on Wednesday, April 27 at St Paul’s Church in Blandford Road, St Albans between 2pm and 5pm.
Junior doctors across the country will be staging their first total strike in NHS history tomorrow.
The dispute stems from Government plans to impose a new seven day contract on doctors, ranging from junior to consultant level, later this year.
But if the junior doctors’ industrial action is cancelled, the sessions will be cancelled.
All families are welcome and children are asked to bring their teddy with them.
