Six motorbikes have been stolen in Three Rivers in the last month.

Police are urging motorbike owners to ensure their vehicles are safe after the thefts in Rickmansworth, Chorleywood and Harefield.

A black KTM adventure bike was stolen after 9pm on Thursday, April 21 in Hubbards Road, Chorleywood. This vehicle has been recovered.

A black Longjia scooter was stolen between 1pm and 7pm on Tuesday, April 25 in Springwell Avenue, Rickmansworth. This bike has not been found.

A white Honda motorcycle was stolen between midnight and 1.40am on Tuesday, May 3 in Dovedale, Harefield. This bike has been recovered.

A black Piaggio scooter was stolen between 8pm and 8am between Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14 in Penn Road, Rickmansworth. This bike has not been recovered.

A black Suzuki GSX was stolen between 8pm on Saturday, May 14 and 12.50pm on Sunday, May 15 in Aldbury Road, Rickmansworth. This bike has not been recovered.

A black Triumph Tiger was stolen between 8pm on Monday, May 16 and 8am on Tuesday, May 17 on Moor Lane, Rickmansworth. This bike has not been recovered.

Detective Sergeant Andy Wiseman from Rickmansworth police station said: “We have had a considerable number of bikes stolen in the Three Rivers area over recent weeks, and although some have been recovered I would like to advise motorcycle owners to take precautions to ensure that their bikes are as secure as possible and less tempting to would-be thieves.
