Tuesday, April 26

Mohammad Sunam, 41, of Watling View, St Albans. On January 14, 2016, used threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour and the offence was racially aggravated. Fine, compensation, costs: £290.

Wednesday, April 27

Daniel Keating, 38, of Breadcroft Lane, Harpenden. On April 9, 2016, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 30mph. Fine, costs: £205. Three penalty points.

Tuesday, May 3

Roy Alan Stallard, 36, of Alder Close, Park Street, St Albans. On April 15, 2016, damaged automatic doors belonging to WH Smith. On same date, had in his possession a small amount of cannabis; was guilty of disorderly behaviour while drunk. Fine, costs: £230.

Wednesday, May 4

Julie Jeanette Maloney, 29, of Laxton Gardens, Shenley, Radlett. On March 10, 2016, assaulted a person by beating her. On same date, assaulted a police constable in the execution of his duty; used threatening or abusive words or disorderly behaviour. On April 5, 2016, failed to surrender to custody at St Albans Magistrates’ Court. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Committed to prison. Overall length of sentence 16 weeks. Compensation: £80.

Roger James Smith, 33, of Clarendon Court, Harpenden. On November 4, 2015, dishonestly made off without having paid for fuel. Two counts. Fine, compensation, costs: £740.72.

Marc Browne, 39, of Upper Lattimore Road, St Albans. On April 14, 2016, failed to comply with the requirements of a community order by inappropriate behaviour during a supervision appointment. Costs: £85.

Thursday, May 5

Sam Smith, 27, of Farm Crescent, Napsbury Park, St Albans. On October 27, 2015, kept a vehicle which was unlicensed on a public road. Fine, costs: £292.34.

Carlos Martins, 36, of Sanders Close, London Colney, St Albans. On August 3, 2015, used a vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £695. Six penalty points.

Harry Edward Gaddes, 76, of Frogmore Home Park, St Albans. On August 12, 2015, failed to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fine, costs: £820. Six penalty points.
