Monday, May 23

Harrison William Giddings, 25, of Blue House Hill, St Albans. On March 25, 2016, used a vehicle when the proportion of a controlled drug in his blood exceeded the specified limit. Community order made. Carry out unpaid work for 80 hours within the next 12 months. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Costs: £145.

Daniel Matthew Tavernier, 34, of The Uplands, Bricket Wood. On April 14, 2016, used a vehicle whilst disqualified from driving. On same date, wilfully obstructed a police constable in the execution of his duty; used a vehicle without insurance. Committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for 18 months. Disqualified from driving for 15 months. Costs: £200.

John Mason, 61, of George Street, Markyate, St Albans. On November 8, 2015, damaged a vehicle. Fine, compensation, costs: £1,000.

Tuesday, May 31

Matthew Rennie Solomon Gonzales, 29, of High Street, St Albans. On March 1, 2016, had in his possession a quantity of cannabis with intent to supply it to another person. Community order made. Participate in Thinking Skills Programme for 19 sessions. Carry out unpaid work for 40 hours within the next 12 months. Costs: £145.

Tomacz Kraczek, 20, of Dellfield, St Albans. On May 14, 2016, had with him in a public place a large knife. On same date, had in his possession a small amount of cannabis. Fine, costs: £315.

Jacqueline Leslie, 48, of High Street, Markyate, St Albans. On November 5, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 30mph. Fine, costs: £205. Three penalty points.

Lorraine Oakman, 41, of Page Place, Frogmore, St Albans. On November 4, 2015, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 30mph. Fine, costs: £155. Three penalty points.

Andrew John Peters, 53, of Oakwood Road, Bricket Wood. On November 10, 2015, used a vehicle without insurance. On same date, used a vehicle when the tyre tread patterns were not of sufficient depth; used a vehicle fitted with a pneumatic tyre with the ply or cord exposed. Two counts. Fine, costs: £1,251. Eight penalty points.

Kane Martell Pope, 21, of Green Lane, St Albans. On November 4, 2015, failed to comply with a red light traffic signal. Fine, costs: £327. Three penalty points.

James Henry Sterling, 38, of Cell Barnes Lane, St Albans. On November 10, 2015, used a vehicle without a licence. Fine, costs: £327.

Simon Paul Wade, 41, of Cunningham Avenue, St Albans. On November 9, 2015, used a vehicle without insurance. Fine, costs: £811. Eight penalty points.

Wednesday, June 1

Gino Marotta, 46, of Stanley Avenue, St Albans. On June 23, 2015, failed to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fine, costs: £480. Six penalty points.

Friday, June 3

Jacqueline Ann Wilkinson, 52, of St James Road, Harpenden. On May 7, 2016, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 45 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Fine, costs: £635.

Mark David Flanagan, 29, of Dellfield, St Albans. On April 22, 2016, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 93 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Disqualified from driving for 24 months. Community order made. Participate in Alcohol Treatment Programme for 18 sessions. Fine, costs: £170.

Minaj Uddin, 25, of Grimthorpe Close, St Albans. On March 22, 2016, used a vehicle when the proportion of a controlled drug in his blood exceeded the specified limit. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. Fine, costs: £235.

Ala Miah, 33, of Cell Barnes Lane, St Albans. On March 15, 2016, failed to provide a specimen of breath for analysis in the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence. Disqualified from driving for 17 months. Fine, costs: £840.
