A woman was attacked after collecting a takeaway at an Indian restaurant in Croxley Green.
An argument broke out between two women inside The Standard Tandoori, Watford Road, on Thursday, June 2.
The victim left the restaurant and was then attacked. She was punched and kicked while on the floor.
The woman, in her 30s, had bruises on her legs, arms and cut hands.
PC Lloyd Croft, who is investigating, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed the altercation inside the restaurant or the assault outside to contact me.
“I am particularly keen to speak to two people who were eating inside the restaurant at the time of the incident.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Croft via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C2/16/1474.
