Monday, August 15

Simeon James Dacre, 36, of Langley Grove, Sandridge, St Albans. On August 5, 2016, stole three bottles of beer belonging to The Co-Op. Commission of a further offence during the operational period of a suspended sentence order. Committed to prison. Overall length of sentence four weeks. Costs: £115 Graham Stewart Stevenson, 62, of Albion Road, St Albans. On July 11, 2016, used a vehicle after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion in breath was 68 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Disqualified from driving for 41 months. Fine, costs: £255.

Tuesday, August 16

Phillippa Mary Havard, 55, of Hopkins Crescent, Sandridge, St Albans. On July 5, 2016, stole meat products belonging to Tesco. On July 8, 2016, stole ready meals belonging to BP Simply Foods. Fine, costs: £60.

Ryan Anthony Courtney, 22, of Alban Avenue, St Albans. On May 26, 2016, assaulted a person. Community order made. Carry out unpaid work for 80 hours within the next 12 months. Compensation, costs: £220.

Darrell Anthony Bourne, 20, of London Road, St Albans. On March 20, 2016, knowing that payment for goods supplied was required from him dishonestly made off without having paid. On same date, used a vehicle without a licence; used a vehicle without insurance. On March 26, 2016, committed fraud by false representation. Disqualified from driving for six months. Fine, compensation, costs: £765.

Eamonn Cornelius Curtin, 41, of Gurney Court Road, St Albans. On January 20, 2016, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 40mph. Fine, costs: £816. Six penalty points.

Toju Francisco Da Silva, 42, of Moreton End Lane, Harpenden. On January 22, 2016, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 70mph. Fine, costs: £407. Five penalty points.

Amelia Amroutie Sookraj, 51, of North Avenue, Shenley, Radlett. On January 20, 2016, used a vehicle at a speed exceeding the legal limit of 40mph. Fine, costs: £569. Six penalty points.

Paul Anthony Niven, 35, of Scrubbits Square, Radlett. On August 13, 2016, stole aftershave belonging to Manor Pharmacy. Fine, costs: £155.

Thursday, August 18

Gareth Matthew Forward Dickens, 23, of Thompson Close, Harpenden. On July 26, 2016, assaulted a person by beating her. Restraining order made. Fine, costs: £290.

Eleonora Gorova, 32, of Amenbury Lane, Harpenden. On February 11, 2016, being the driver of a vehicle owing to the presence of which on a road an accident occurred whereby damage was caused to another vehicle and she failed to stop. On same date, failed to report the accident at a police station or to a constable; used a vehicle without due care and attention. Fine, costs: £452. Five penalty points.

Robert Malcolm Macfarlane, 55, of Drakes Drive, St Albans. On February 17, 2016, failed to give information relating to the identification of a driver who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence. Fine, costs: £811. Six penalty points.

Charles John Edward Pritchard, 22, of Hammers Gate, St Albans. On December 17, 2015, used a vehicle when the grooves of the tread pattern of a tyre were not of sufficient depth. On same date, used a vehicle when a front wheel was fitted with a tyre which had the ply or cord exposed. Fine, costs: £505. Three penalty points.
