Soulfish are a ten-piece soul band who have bossed the north London scene for the past 15 years and now they are coming to Harpenden Public Halls. The line-up includes members of The Selector, Supertramp, The Cuban Brothers, Secret Affairs and Chicken Shack. (September 10)

Dave Smith and Chris and Eddie Amoo are celebrating 40 years of being in the music industry as The Real Thing. This show features all their '70s mega-hits including You to Me Are Everything, Can't Get By Without You and Can You Feel the Force. (September 17)

Harpenden Light Operatic Society presents Thoroughly Modern Millie - a six-time Tony Awards winner including the gong for best musical. Based on the 1967 award-winning film, the story takes you back to the height of the Jazz Age in New York City and follows 'moderns' including Millie Dillmount, who were bobbing their hair, raising their hemlines, entering the workforce and rewriting the rules of love. In 2015, the release of Lloyd Cole and the Commotions Collected Recordings 1983-89 sold out far more quickly than anticipated. 2016 will see Lloyd performing a live set comprised of material from 1983-1986 only and tickets are selling fast. (October 14)

From Wham to Madonna and Michael Jackson, rewind back to the '80s and party to all the favourite hits from the decade. All the profits from the show will be donated to Rennie Grove Hospice (October 15)

Don't Believe A Word is the new show from comic Mitch Benn, who will be debunking myths, exposing non-sense and grappling with the very nature of knowledge. (October 26)
