A UK singer songwriter will perform two days before releasing her latest single.

Natalie McCool, form Liverpool, is set to release new single You & I on March 24, a track from her second album released by her own Fortress Sounds label via Ditto Music.

Since making her debut over three years ago with the release of her debut album, with whom she collaborated with Suede’s Bernard Butler, the singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist has picked up a steadily growing support base of fans and critics alike with her truly innovative and beautiful take on pop music.

In 2014 she also worked with Sir Paul McCartney after winning a one-on-one songwriting session with The Beatles legend.

You & I is a psych-pop infused ditty about love. The verses have a touch of wit: “I can’t think, I can’t divide, I can’t even sum myself up on the inside”.

Her album, The Great Unknown, is made up of dark, gloomy indie-pop and features additional production and mixes on the singles Pins, Cardiac Arrest, Fortress and Oh Danger by Rich Turvey of Blossoms, Clean Cut Kid and VITAMIN.
