The art gallery Marks & Tilt opened its doors to St Albans only two months ago and it is now displaying rarely available artwork by Bob Dylan.

The exhibition opening, on April 29, coincided with the Nobel Laureate’s three-day residency at the London Palladium as part of his current worldwide tour and the fourteen exhibits are drawn from two of Dylan’s most sought after and collectible series – Drawn Blank (2008-2014) and Brazil (2015).

Gallery owner Olley Marks commented: ““We are delighted to curate this stunning collection so early in the life of our gallery.

“Bob Dylan is truly an icon and has been a lifelong hero of ours. To see his exquisite use of colour and form across such a diverse range of images is thrilling and the combined impact of his work is truly enthralling.”

Co-owner Ralph Tilt added: “We’re not far from central London, so who knows, like a rolling stone the artist himself may have time to visit us; we wait to hear.”
