A 51-YEAR-OLD pedestrian died after being hit by two cars on the Redbourn Road, St Albans on Saturday night.
A Luton taxi driver in a Mercedes Veto was driving towards Redbourn when he collided with the man at about 9.10pm, approximately half-a-mile south of the junction with Hogg End Lane. The man then fell onto the opposite side of the road where he was was hit by a Peugeot 106, driven by a man from Hemel Hempstead.
The man died from injuries to his head, pelvis and legs.
Police, who have not yet named the man, are appealing for witnesses to call PC John Anderson on 01707638007.
