Schoolchildren from St Albans represented their school at swimming championships in June.
Children from How Wood Primary School, Spooners Drive, St Albans took part in the ESSA Primary Relay Teams Swimming Gala after success at the Garston gala in March.
Daniel, Robyn and Megan, all aged 11, and Lucas, 9 competed in the freestyle relay and the medley relay, finishing 10th in the freestyle and third in the medley for which they received a bronze medal.
Headteacher Cynthia Rowe said: "This is a huge achievement for a small school to be placed so highly in a national event and we are immensely proud of our amazing swimmers."
