More than 100 cyclists donned fancy dress for an annual event.

More than 100 women put on fancy dress for the annual British Cycling Hertfordshire Christmas Jingle.

Riders from all over the county rode in groups before meeting at Dacorum Cycle Hub for a cup of tea and cake, all dressed as festive favourites.

Pete Cox, British Cycling’s partnership manager for the central region, said: "This year’s Hertfordshire Christmas Jingle was another great opportunity for women across the county to come together, meet new people and celebrate the fantastic success of HSBC UK Breeze here in Hertfordshire.

"The Breeze Champions did a fantastic job in organising the event again this year, and their commitment to getting more women on bikes is truly inspirational."

The event was organised as part of British Cycling's HSBC UK Breeze programme, which brings together volunteers of 'breeze champions' to lead free regular rides.
