The Deputy Mayor of St Albans was on hand to reopen a restaurant.

Bill's restaurant in St Albans was reopened by Deputy Mayor of St Albans Cllr Jamie Day after a renovation and new menu was designed for the area.

Bill Collison, founder of Bill’s, said: "St. Albans is a historic market town which, as a former greengrocer, is very special to me. We look forward to welcoming back our local fans and tempting in some new faces.

"It’s evolution, not revolution – We have built on the solid foundation by adding more WOW factors across a range of guest touch points from crockery to menu options and uniform to furniture.

"It is all the best bits of Bill’s in a gorgeous setting with some brilliant new food to enjoy for any time of day."

St. Albans is one of three Bill’s restaurants to trial the new concept alongside Covent Garden and Westfield in London.

The restaurant opened on January 29.
