"I want to thank the guests for braving the cold weather to come along on Sunday and the generous people who donated prizes for the tombola.
"Youth Talk is a charity close to my heart that provides a much-needed counselling and support service for young people.”
Youth Talk’s chief executive Trevor Fromant added: “The Mayor has given our charity a great deal of support during his year of office, helping to raise thousands of pounds through events like this tea party.
"The funds will make a real difference to our small charity.”
