A Member of Parliament will today oversee the launch of a new post office open seven days a week.
Anne Main MP will this morning cut the ribbon on the new St Albans post office to mark the official re-opening of the Beach Road site.
The ribbon cutting will commence at 11.30am.
The new Post Office at the Shell King William Service Station is just 25 metres from previous branch which closed in April 2017.
The service station is part of Motor Fuel Group, which has its headquarters in St Albans and is the first Post Office within a MFG service station.
The opening hours are Monday to Sunday: 6am – 10pm, offering 112 hours of Post Office service each week.
