Police are appealing for witnesses after a car reportedly left the scene of a crash.
The incident happened on the roundabout at the junction of Redbourn Road and Hemel Hempstead Road/A4147 in St Albans.
It happened on Saturday at around 10.05am.
A black Nissan X-Trail and a smaller silver hatchback were involved in a crash and although the silver car initially stopped, it then left the scene abruptly.
Officers from the St Albans intervention team are investigating the circumstances around the crash and are appealing for anyone who saw what happened, or events leading up to it, to get in touch, particularly if any person has dash cam footage in the area at that time.
Anyone with information is asked to contact PC James Horn via the non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 242 of May 12.
