The line-ups for the next two instalments of Tales from the Vicarage Live have been announced, with a pair stellar casts set to take to the Watford Palace Theatre stage.

The shows, which take place on Sunday, September 2 and Tuesday, November 18 respectively, will once again see audience members treated to a host of anecdotes from former Hornets favourites.

Neil Cox, Andy Hessenthaler, Wilf Rostron and Les Taylor will form the panel for the September show.

Rostron’s presence will be a particular pull given he rarely engages in media activities and is sure to bring a multitude of fascinating stories to the evening.

He played over 400 times for Watford and was captain when the club reached the FA Cup final in 1984, although a red card picked up against fierce rivals Luton Town ensured he missed the 2-0 defeat against Everton.

The second live show is set to feature Dennis Booth, John Eustace, Gavin Mahon and Robert Page.

All four made over 100 appearances for the Hornets during their playing days and enjoyed successful careers at a number of clubs.

Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am on Friday and can be purchased online or by visiting the Palace Theatre’s box office.
