Andy Davies will referee Watford’s Carabao Cup meeting with Reading at the Madejski Stadium tomorrow night.
The official has shown 17 yellow cards in five outings so far this season and his most recent outing came in a League Two draw between Forest Green and Swindon on Saturday.
With Davies never having taking charge of a game above Championship level, Watford’s most recent outing under his watch came back in the 2014/15 season.
Javi Gracia’s men will hope for a similar outcome to the one they secured in that game which ended in a 3-0 win over Rotherham.
