Ken Sema has been included in the Sweden squad for their upcoming matches against Austria and Turkey.
Watford’s summer signing has proven a useful asset to Javi Gracia this season, despite only being introduced from the bench in Watford’s three Premier League outings so far this term.
He played an important role in holding the ball up and killing the game as Watford claimed a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
The 24-year-old is likely to get his first start in a Watford shirt this evening when the Hornets take on Reading in the Carabao Cup.
Having missed out on a spot in Sweden’s squad at the World Cup – a tournament which saw his country reach the quarter-final stage – Sema will be eager to impress in the upcoming friendly games.
Sweden take on Austria away from home on Thursday, September 6 in a friendly match before entertaining Turkey in the UEFA Nations League four days later.
