A group that helps homeless people in the town has launched a campaign to raise vital money for emergency supplies.
Watford Homeless Warriors started the GoFundMe page so they can buy much-needed provisions like underwear and other crisis items for people living on the street in the town.
Money raised will also go towards paying for accommodation.
The organisation, started by three friends, has grown in strength this year – yet it still relies on the good nature of the community to support people without housing or in poverty. The charity New Hope have supported WHW in various projects.
Homeless Warriors hopes to raise a modest £1,000 to pay for the provisions.

Director, Stephen Russell, said: “We are raising funds to be able to purchase items like socks and boxers, and to be able to help out in emergencies or if someone needs some money for a shelter at the YMCA or a contribution to GoKula Cafe.
“None of us are far from being in same situation, we are gaining so much momentum and making such a difference and bringing awareness to Watford.
“Homeless Warriors could lead the charge in the fight against homelessness and poverty.”
