A school got into the Christmas spirit by raising awareness for national charity The Sick Children’s Trust.
Skyswood Primary School pupils took part in the trust's My Christmas Wish project by performing popular festive songs in a special three-minute film.
The project aimed to raise £13,230 to support families with children with serious or life-threatening illnesses by providing free ‘home from home’ accommodation.
Head of house operations Joy Darling said: “The children at Skyswood Primary School were an absolute pleasure. We’d like to thank them all for choosing to take part to raise awareness for families with poorly children in hospital.”
Head teacher Bob Bridle added: “Our children have loved the opportunity to support The Sick Children's Trust, reflecting on the importance of their families at such a special time of year and thinking about how they can make a difference to those in less fortunate situations to themselves.”
