The mayor has been in front of pupils at a grammar school to answer their questions.
The Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor was grilled by sixth form pupils at Watford Boys Grammar School this week about his role as Mayor.
The Mayor spoke about everything ranging from the town centre improvements to the situation with Brexit and everything in between.
The Mayor was invited as part of pupil Mustafa Shah’s attempt to set up a Model United Nations Club at the school.
Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor said: “It is always really enjoyable to visit Watford Boys Grammar School.
“The pupils were clearly very engaged with politics – both locally and nationally – and asked lots of very good questions.”
“I was pleased to learn more about their plans to set up a Model United Nations group so that they can learn more about international affairs and gain more experience of speaking in public and negotiating.”
