Police have released a photo of a bike that is suspected to have been stolen in a bid to trace its owner.
Officers recovered the bike during two arrests that happened in Station Approach, Harpenden, at around 12.30am on February 7.
PC Amy Farmer said: “Do you recognise this bike? If you believe it is yours, please get in touch on the non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference 41/12255/19.”
David Lopata, 19, of Ascot Road, Luton, pleaded guilty to the theft of a bicycle at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Friday, February 8 - He was sentenced to 21 days in prison.
Another man Adrian Hirko, 21, of Goodman Croft, Bedford, has been charged with theft. He will next appear at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, March 12 after pleading not guilty at Hatfield Magistrates Court.
