A five-year-old activist has raised more than £2,000 for a homelessness charity in a yoga challenge.
Lily Kitchenham from Rickmansworth took it upon herself to take part in a sponsored 'yogathon' to raise vital funds for New Hope because she felt passionately about the issue.
She said: “People need a home because they might be sad and lonely if they don’t have somewhere to live”.
With the help of her mum, Tanya, and Adele from Adele Yoga, Lily raised an impressive £2,088.75 for the charity.
Rebecca Palmer, New Hope’s fundraising and communications manager, said: ‘Lily’s fundraising efforts have been fantastic. We have all been moved by her compassion and activism and I believe we can all learn something from her hard work.”
